Auction
- Each player is dealt two cards face down.
- Round of betting.
- Cards equal to the number of players is turned up in the middle of the table.
- Each person then secretly chooses an amount (At least the minimum bet) and places it in their hand.
- Bets are dropped to the table.
- Cards are auctioned:
- The person who "bid" highest chooses one of the up cards and adds it to his hand. (Cards remain face up)
- The person who "bid" second highest chooses next, and so forth.
- If there is a tie, then the person closest to the dealer's right (dealer is the right most person) chooses next.
- Round of betting.
- Cards equal to the number of players is turned up in the middle of the table.
- Another Auction begins, by the same rules as above.
- Round of betting.
- Auctions continue until all people have 7 cards
- Then there is a single betting round starting with the high hand on the table.
- Remaining players declair high/low/both.
- High and low hands split
Variation:
7th card is down (no auction), not up.
