Dirty Schultz (AKA: Follow the Pair)
In this 7-card stud variant whenever a natural pair is dealt up to a player, the next up card is wild.
If another pair is dealt up, the following up card becomes wild. If the last up card results in a pair, then there are no wild cards.
- Two cards are dealt down and the first up card are dealt to each player.
- Round of betting (High Card Begins the betting)
- Another face-up card is dealt to each player. If this card results in a pair, the next players card (and all similar cards) are wild. For example if the wild card is a 7, then all 7s are wild.
- Round of betting
- The cycle continues until 6 cards have been dealt (4 down, 2 up) to each player. If the last up card results in a pair, then there are no wild cards.
- Round of betting
- A final down card is dealt.
- Round of betting
- Best high poker hand remaining in play wins the pot
